1.

All inquiries including advice on deficiencies in applications / documents will be attended across the table by the Junior Engineer.

:

On all working days between 1100 hours to 1300 hours.

Building application forms will be supplied on payment of Rs. 5/- at Information Facilitation Counter (IFC).

:

On all working days during working hours.

3.

Building application duly filled in along with plans and other papers of legal sanctity will be received by the Building Clerk of Engg. Section.

:

On all working days during working hours.

4.

Forwarding of information for payment of requisite fee/charges, if the building applications are found in order.

:

Within 7 days from receipt of Building application.

5.

Payment of fees/charges by the applicant.

:

Within 7 days or as directed in the information letter.

6.

Decision on building application for sanction of building plans will be communicated.

:

Minimum 30 days subject to every thing pertaining to building application is in order. If it is not in order, the period for sanction of Building plan may extend up to any extent till the fulfillment of the requirement as per provisions of Cantonment Act 1924 and the Building Bye-laws framed by the Cantonment Board Babina.

7.

Validity of sanction given for a plan

:

One year

Information on completion certificate/ plans will have to be communicated to the office by the applicant.

:

As soon as, the construction of building is completed.

9.

Extension that can be given

:

Two times for one year each after expiry of sanctioned period of plan i.e. one year.

10.

Manner of applying for extension

:

If, the construction is not completed within the sanctioned period of plan the applicant may apply for another one year extension of time before expiry of sanctioned period alongwith the copy of sanctioned plan. Likewise 2nd extension of time for one year may also be applied before expiry of 1st extension of time for completion of the construction.
