Any person, who intends to construct, re-construct make alterations or additions should apply to the Cantonment Executive Officer, Babina as required under section 179 of the Cantonment Act 1924. The Building plans should be conformed to the building byelaws framed by the Board.

          The building applications should accompany the following documents:-

1.         A Set of 3 building application forms duly filled in and singed by the applicant(s). The building application forms will be issued by the office on payment.

2.       Site plan of the land on which it is intended to construct or re-construct the building.

3.         A plan of the building, which it is proposed to construct or re-construct together with a plan of existing building showing platforms, Balconies and other projections.

NOTE:            The plan referred to in (2) and (3) above shall be submitted ion triplicate with one copy of the plan on Tracing Cloth and other in Ferro/Ammonia Print and should be duly signed by the applicant.

4.      Documents such as Registered Sale deed, Khasra /Khatauni of existing plot/land/building and complete tax paid certificate or receipts.

WHO CAN APPLY

(A)            Owner or Agent having Power of Attorney holder.

 (B)           Types of building proposals accepted

                  (i)     New Construction on vacant plot/land

                 (ii)     Additions/Alteration proposals in existing/old buildings.

                 (iii)     Re-construction after demolition of part or entire old building.
