From 1st April to 30th June on receipt of the applications from the persons carrying on the trade in Cantt. area and on payment of requisite charges/fees etc.

Inspection of the shops of merchants of food, grains, vegetables, fruits, selling eatable items, country/foreign liquors and intoxication drugs, medicines and other trades in Cantt. area.

Within 7 days of receiving the application duly filled in by person for carrying on the business in Cantonment.

The composition of offence under section 118 of Cantonment Act 1924.

One due date, on payment of requisite compounding fine/fee etc.

Catching of stray Cattle

:

Immediately on detection and are impounded in Cattle Pounds of Cantonment Board Babina.

Removal of persons occupying road berms/street berms and items making obstacle for the traffics.

From time to time, if they are found at the road/ street berms.

 :

After Compounding off offence.

SANITATION CIRCLE :

1.

The (proposed) civil area

:

The area on both sides on NH-26 Jhansi-Saugor Main Road and some portion of Station Road.

2.

Army area

:

The conservancy services to the troops located in Babina are being rendered under an agreement executed each year between Station HQrs. and Cantt. Board Babina for this purpose. The area has been divided into beats and the conservancy safaiwalas are deployed by the Cantonment Board Babina divided in six beats to lift the garbage from army area. The Cantt. Board Babina maintains a fleet of four vehicles i.e. one TATA Truck and three Eicher Tractors.

The conservancy services in army area are regular and special arrangements are made to fulfill the requirement of the troops in the event of inspections/Visits by the VIPs and Higher Defense Authorities in the Station.

     In nut-shall the aim of Cantt. Board Babina is only to maintain the entire Cantonment neat and clean.

3.

Horticulture

:

The Cantonment Board Babina has developed and maintain 12 nos. parks in Cantt. area.

    The above parks are the source of recreation for the Children, families of defense personnel and general public of Cantonment area Babina.

     Afforestation  is carried out by the Cantonment Board Babina from time to time. The uprooted trees (due to heavy rain/storm) are removed immediately from the area.

     Removal of Horticulture waste/dry leaves cleaning of water channels/nallahs/drains, pruning of bushes, removal of weeds/wild grass from road side lanes/by lanes removal of noxious vegetation from entire Cantonment area is the daily routine work of the Cantt. Board, Babina.

The seasonable flowers are planted in September and October and summer flowers in April and May of every year.

     The Cantt. Board Babina undertakes plant protection measures for treating regular infectious trees by spraying insecticides/fungicides.
 

CITIZEN’S RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. It is citizen’s duty and responsibility to co-operate the Cantonment Board Babina in keeping     the Cantonment parks and gardens neat and clean without littering them, while they visit them.

  2. Pets are not allowed in the parks/gardens.

  3. Do not disturb the environment of the gardens.

  4. Use pedestrian tracks, while walking in the parks/gardens. Do not roam in the barred area.

  5. Stop the persons damaging grass and plants of the parks/gardens. Inform Cantonment Board office immediately, if any one is found doing so.

  6. Co-operate in tree plantation programmes launched in the Cantonment time to time. Each family should adopt at least one tree in a year.

  7. Only use parking space for the vehicles provided out side the parks/gardens.

  8. Do not allow any one to damage tree guards and inform the Cantt. Board Babina about the violators.

  9. Citizens are required to co-operate with the Horticulture staff in carrying out their works in the parks/gardens and not to interfere.

  10. Citizens can seek Police assistance in prohibiting those harming gardens/parks and immediate inform the Cantonment Board Office.
