PUBLIC HEALTH & HYGIENE
SANITATION: Top priority is accorded for maintaining high standards of health and hygiene in the cantonment. At present there are two sanitary inspectors , eight sanitary jamedars and one hundred and seventy three safaiwallahs to take care of the sanitation of cantonment. The various activities undertaken by the sanitary department of the cantonment board office have been widely described below.

Cleaning of roads, streets and drains in civil & army areas. |

5:30 AM to 10:00 AM in the morning through Agency employed by Cantt. Board for the purpose in civil area and from 14:00 PM to 18:00 PM evening in respect of all areas, which are on the both sides of Jhansi-Saugor Main Road (National Highway-26), Station Road, which includes cleaning of lanes, Roads, Nallahs, Drains, Refuse bins, Group Latrines and their Septic tanks, Urinals and removal dead Cattle. |

6:00 AM to 10:30 AM in the morning and 15:00 PM to 18:00 PM in the evening in army area by the Cantt. Board Safaiwalas in respect of all areas. Skeleton services on every day through agency on receipt of information from the public. |

Collection and removal of Garbage from the refuse bins and from connecting areas. |
